Nessan Farm
Overview of the farm
Nessan Gård is a mountain farm located 13 km from the E6, with the exit from Brekkvasselv. The farm is child-friendly with a playground, playroom, trampoline and bicycles, and is an excellent starting point for trips in the forest and fields. There are hiking trails to the mountains and paths along the river that provide easy access to fishing and swimming spots. Gazebos and barbecue areas for free use.
In Nessan you will also find two small hydroelectric power plants. A guided tour can be offered if desired.
If you want to go to Namsskogan Family Park at Trones or the shopping center in Namsskogan, it is a half-hour drive from Nessan. The nearest town, Brekkvasselv, has a shop, tavern and gas station.
Nessan farm has the following houses and cabins for rent:
Pederstu
Pederstu is located adjacent to the farmyard and can be rented all year round. The house has electricity, shower, toilet, stove, refrigerator, kitchen utensils, washing machine, television, wireless internet and a total of 12 beds (3 bedrooms + a loft with two sofa beds). Pets are allowed indoors as long as a cage is used. Pets are prohibited in bedrooms and on furniture.

Langnessan
Visiting season: March 1 - May 1 and June 25 - September 20. (With reservations as suitability depends on weather and winter and may vary from year to year.)
Lang-Nessan is a cozy mountain cabin (550 m above sea level) located about 6 km from the farm and 5 km from the road (about 1.5 hours of leisurely walking).
We offer scooter transportation to and from the cabin during the winter.
The cabin is located right next to Langtjønna and is surrounded by a total of 6 fishing lakes including Blåfjelltjønnin. With its nearby toboggan runs and slightly hilly terrain for nice ski trips, this cabin is well suited for families with children. The cabin contains 2 bedrooms, living room/kitchen and storage room. 4 beds + sofa bed. Necessary kitchen equipment, firewood, propane for cooking, dry toilet, duvets and pillows (bedding can be rented or you must bring your own), 12 V solar system and wireless internet.
Price:
NOK 700 per day.

The Greenhouse
Visiting season: March 15 - May 1 and July 1 - September 20. (With reservations as suitability depends on weather and winter and may vary from year to year.)
Grønnlihytta is a small and weatherproof cabin on the Snaufjellet mountain (650 m above sea level) and is located approx. 12 km from the farm. In summer you can drive to Seterfossen and walk 6 km from here (approx. 2-2.5 hours walk). In winter we offer scooter transport to and from the cabin. The cabin is located close to Grønnlitjønnin (10 lakes near the cabin), which is notorious for the quantity and quality of both trout and char fishing. A stay at the cabin will give you exclusive rights to fish in these waters.
Nice hiking destinations from Grønnlihytta include Nonsvatnet (Høylandet municipality) and Nilsfinndalen/Nilsfinntjønnin on the Nordland side.
The cabin consists of one room + loft with mattresses, and provides space for 4-5 people. The cabin contains necessary kitchen equipment, firewood, primus stove and dry toilet. 12 V solar system.
